Get verified. Submit the details below for your seller type.
Your contact details become visible. Once you're approved, buyers can reach you directly.
For freelance sellers
Take a photo of yourself holding your NIN slip or card. Your face and the NIN details must both be clearly visible.

We check these details against your dealer code before approving your listing.
How long does it take?
Our verification team works around the clock, and most sellers are verified in less than 5 minutes.
Who sees my information?
Only our verification team can see your NIN and photo. We use them to confirm you're a real seller and to keep scammers off the platform. We store them securely for as long as you list with us, so we can identify our listers if there's ever a problem with a listing. They are never shared publicly.
Our verification team is based in South Africa, which is why our WhatsApp number starts with +27.
Important: Our email (info@chatcars.ng) and WhatsApp (+27 836 699 533) are the only channels where you should ever send your NIN photo. If anyone else asks you for it, do not send it, and report it to us.
How we keep scammers off Chat2Cars
Scammers are not welcome here, and we take steps to keep them out:
Every seller is verified. No seller's contact details are shown to buyers until they've been confirmed as a real person or a registered dealer.
We keep records of our listers. We know who is behind every verified listing.
Suspicious listings are removed.
You can report a listing. See something that doesn't look right? Message us on WhatsApp at +27 836 699 533 or email info@chatcars.ng, and our team will look into it. You can also send us any other concerns through either channel.
Verification is one layer of protection, not the only one, so buyers should still take sensible precautions.
